If you have answered “yes” to majority of these questions, it’s time for a closet clean out girl! I know what you’re thinking “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” but it’s okay. Let’s help you make time. Many of us lead VERY busy lives with all of our daily duties but I promise doing a closet clean out will help you feel more free, confident, and organized. Freeing your space of clutter also frees your mind of clutter as well. So, on your next off day schedule some time out to start your closet clean out.
CLOSET CLEAN OUT
The first step is to look through your closet and check out pieces that you know for sure you don’t ever want to wear again. It could be something simple as it’s too small, the color has faded, has a bad stain, or it’s no longer in style. Whatever the case maybe, be sure to make a pile for the things you no longer want. I would suggest getting a bag together for all the clothes you no longer want and donate them to the Goodwill or your local thrift store. Giving is such a kind act and can be done in the smallest of ways. There is someone less fortunate that will be so grateful to get some of your stylish pieces.
REVAMPING THE OLD
Don’t get rid of everything in your closet! Do a revamp with some of your old pieces! Look through your closet and see what you have that could be revamped or worn differently than you first time you wore it. A big mistake a lot of us make is not restyling some of old clothing with our new. Revamping some of your fashion pieces in your closet can save you so much money because you do not have to keep buying new pieces. Also, working with what you have gets your fashionable creativity flowing.
